Waukesha Unveils Latest Mural!

As part of the yearlong celebration commemorating 20 years of Waukesha Art Crawl, the Waukesha West End Arts have teamed up with Brushfire Signs of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, to create a mural featuring Waukesha Art Crawl, the Waukesha Farmers Market and Waukesha Friday Night Live.

The mural will be unveiled in a special ceremony starting at 3pm on Saturday, October 6th, 2018. The mural will be located on the side of the building at 916 Clinton Street in Waukesha, next to the current Carroll University mural that was also painted by Brushfire Signs.

Funding for the mural was made possible by a grant from the Waukesha County Community Foundation / Donald J and Betty Lou Tikalsky Community Fund.

Saturday, October 6th is also the 103rd “Mural, Mural on the Wall” Art Crawl for downtown Waukesha and the Waukesha West End Artists. From its humble beginnings 20 years ago, Waukesha Art Crawl now includes over 20 studios and galleries and the work of some 175 artists. Art Crawl 103 begins at 4pm on October 6th, 2018.

The Waukesha West End Artists will also be presenting a check for $1,000 to ACAP/Art Links 333. This donation was made possible from sales of the Waukesha West End Artists 2018 Coloring Book featuring artwork from various West End Artists.
