For immediate release:  The ALMONT GALLERY presents “Nature and All It’s Glory” a summer exhibit featuring artists Renee Couture, and Jennifer Hicks, and photographer Tom Voss.  This exhibit runs from July 1st to August 15th.  Each artist displays their personal view of nature with materials ranging from pastels and paint, fabrics and thread, the lens of the camera – three unique perspectives .  The ALMONT GALLERY is located at 342 West Main Street in Historic Downtown Waukesha.  For more information go to www.almontgallery.com.

Artist’s background information:

Renee Couture’s pastel, oil, and watercolor nature-scapes are inspired by the sights and impressions she’s experienced while exploring the US and Europe via kayak and bike.

Jennifer Hicks delicate landscapes are “fabricated” with bits and pieces of hand painted and printed textiles and embellished with tiny, textural stitching.

Tom Voss hikes the countryside using his camera to capture the color, form, light, shadow, and visual diversity found in Wisconsin.

ALMONT GALLERY hours:  Monday through Thursday, 10am to 6pm.  Friday, 10am to 8:30pm.  Saturday, 10am to 4pm.  Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.
